| TOTS
CLASSES / Spanish, French, Chinese, Italian or
German |
6 Months - 3 Years (45 Minute Classes)
Students attend Tots classes with a parent or caregiver.
Original Program
In a 45-minute Original Program structured playgroup, children
absorb their target language through games, visual aids, original
LWFC songs, tactile materials and more!
Original Program with Arts and Crafts (Spanish &
French only)
In an Arts & Crafts playgroup, children enjoy 35-minutes
of Original Program fun and then, for the last 10-minutes,
get an age-appropriate arts & crafts project to refine
their sense of color and texture while they learn the Spanish
or French words associated with recognizable visual symbols.
Original Program with Music & Movement (Spanish
& French only)
In a Music & Movement playgroup, children enjoy 35-minutes
of Original Program fun and then, for the last 10-minutes,
are handed a musical instrument with which to develop tempo,
verbal rhythm and motor skills while expanding their Spanish
or French vocabulary.
Tots playgroups build more than language skills. As youngsters
handle toys and visual aids, they develop motor skills and
coordination. They imagine, invent and discover. Because they
interact with other children, Tots builds social skills.
Other than the LWFC's own structured play technique and our
"hello" and "goodbye" songs, which remain
the same, in every new season students receive a new Songs
& More Workbook/CD set! New visual aid games are also
new every season so that each child adds to his repertoire
of Spanish, French, Chinese, Italian or German and continues
building new language skills.
Spanish for Tots®, French for Tots®, Chinese for
Tots®, Italian for Tots® and German for Tots®
brings your child into the world around him.

| CHILDREN’S
CLASSES / Spanish, French, Chinese, Italian or
German |
3 - 9 Years (1-Hour, 1-1/2 Hour, or
2-Hour Classes)
Students enrolled in Children’s classes are adjusted
to separation and attend class by themselves.
In Children's classes students learn a new language in an
immersion environment through age-appropriate action games,
visual aids, LWFC vocabulary songs and playful and educational
activities.
Because kids over the age of three are fully verbal, Children's
classes are vocal and animated. Students are more aware of
each other than in Tots, so they enjoy interacting as a group.
Children speak (and laugh) aloud more than Tots.
In Children's classes, students start using phrases and sentences.
Later, as their age and level progress, they learn stories
and dialogues.
Children's classes are relaxed and happy because the students
are constantly engaged in rapidly changing activities.
Other than the LWFC's own structured play technique and our
"hello" and "goodbye" songs, which remain
the same, in every new season students receives a new Songs
& More Workbook/CD set as well as a new LWFC Storybook!
New visual aid games are also new every season so that each
child adds to his repertoire of Spanish, French, Chinese,
Italian or German and continues building new language skills.

La Petite Preschool is all in French!
In El Pequeño Pre-escolar or La Petite Preschool children
attend class by themselves. The Preschools are separation

play. Language developmental play simultaneously builds fundamental

such as self-confidence, imagination, reasoning, listening,
creativity, socialization and motor coordination.
Family Preschool promotes a child's general development while
expanding their command of Spanish or French. Varying activities,
such as story-telling, music, drawing, arts and crafts, blocks,
counting, movement, mime, free play, organized play, reading,
snack-time and clean-up foster children's emotional, social,

| SUMMER
CAMP-LIKE ENRICHMENT / Spanish or French |
3 - 9 Years
Summer students are adjusted to separation and attend
class by themselves.
El Club de los Niños and Le Club des Enfants language
immersion fun lets youngsters enjoy activities while discovering
the Spanish or French language and culture. No previous language
experience required.
Buenos Dias Amigos! Bonjour Mes Amis!
It’s Educational and Fun! Learning
Spanish or French with games and fun is the philosophy behind
the LWFC’s school break enrichment program. Children
absorb Spanish or French actively through LWFC structured
playgroup lessons, games, arts and crafts, baking, movement,
charades and original LWFC vocabulary-building songs -- new
for each break.
Appropriate for all Levels. Since most children
are beginners, the LWFC’s Camp-Like Enrichment program
features introductory Spanish or French activities, lessons
and games. But since every counselor is native fluent, they
can respond to every child -- so mid and advanced level speakers
can also practice their language skills.
Half-Day Activities. Youngsters begin by
practicing the words and melodies to a happy new LWFC song.
Then it’s off to the first playgroup lesson -- in Spanish
or French -- with lots of fun and games. Afterwards it’s
snack time, clay work, movement, more songs, musical instruments
and more fun.
Seasonal Special Events. Niños, Niñas
and Enfants enrolled in Summer can look forward to Special
Events Days like Bastille Day, Spanish Day, Dress-up Day,
Funny Nose Day, 70’s Day and Talent Shows. Children
enrolled during
It’s Rewarding. By the end of an exciting
program, children leave with a basis in a new language and
the experience of a new culture.
Parents choose:
Full-Week Immersion:
5 Days a Week: Monday through Friday
Nearly like having your child live in a Spanish or
French speaking country. By being immersed in a new language,
5 days a week, a child begins to think in that language and
makes substantial progress naturally.
Part-Week Immersion:
2 Days a Week: Tuesday + Thursday
3 Days a Week: Monday + Wednesday + Friday
A solid grounding in Spanish or French, all the while
enjoying language immersion fun. The more children attend,
the more Spanish or French they learn.

WINTER
& SPRING BREAK CAMP-LIKE
ENRICHMENT / Spanish or French
|
3 - 9 Years
Winter & Spring break students are adjusted to
separation and attend class by themselves.
Winter break and Spring break are half-day Spanish or French
camp-like enrichment programs blending with indoor fun and
Spanish or French culture.
Campers assemble to draw and say good-morning to their friends.
Then, they start with a Spanish or French lesson and sing-along
using the LWFC’s original vocabulary-building songs.
Then it’s learning through games! Everything is in Spanish
or French so a child’s time is both fun and educational.
Activities may include arts and crafts, movement, action and
visual-aid games. Children also enjoy seasonal activities,
characters, and on some days get to bake.
Midway, campers get a snack and spring water. Finally, a mini-lesson
reviews that day's vocabulary.
